📢 Important Change — January 1, 2026
Blue & black bin recycling is now managed by Circular Materials and collected by Miller Waste Services. The City of Ottawa no longer handles your recycling bins. Your collection day stays the same but the truck and timing may differ. The City still handles garbage, green bin, and leaf & yard waste.
⚠️ March 30, 2026: About half of Ottawa households received a new collection day under the City's new curbside contract. Check the City calendar below to confirm your day.
